Virgin Gorda is a blooming eden 20 km northeast of Tortola. It is part of the British Virgin Islands, which, in turn, are located in the ridge of the Lesser Antilles washed by the Caribbean Sea. The tourist paradise ranks third in size among all English overseas possessions (21 km²) and second in terms of the number of people living here (just over three thousand people). The main settlement is the city of Spanish Town, built in the flat southern part.
