It differs from other identical islands in origin - coral, not volcanic. From the island of Virgin Gorda to the picturesque Anegada it is just over 30 km.
Almost the entire coast of the wonderland is surrounded by the large Horseshoe Reef - the third largest reef in the world, almost 30 km long. The population is about three hundred people; the capital of the territory is the settlement of Settlement.

Visitors can be transported back centuries, listening to exciting legends about the adventures of sea romantics and viewing an extraordinary collection of exclusive items raised from the bottom.
Tour groups are regularly formed for excursions to the nearby East End Peninsula. The burial mounds of 1,500-year-old distant ancestors – the warlike Arawaks Indians – were discovered there. In Anegada, it’s easy to rent a jeep and go to a deserted beach or organize a picnic on your own near one of the twenty salty natural lakes.
